By using the vaccines for dogs and cats from Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health, you indirectly support Afya Serengeti. If you would like to do more, however, consider a donation to the Alliance for Rabies Control (ARC). The ARC is a charitable organization that generates funding for rabies control in Asia and Africa. Another way to donate is through the Lincoln Park Zoo, in Chicago, USA. The Lincoln Park Zoo, a key supporter of the Afya Serengeti project, also leads the Serengeti Health Initiative. This program is designed to protect animals and people in Serengeti National Park from transmissible diseases such as rabies and canine distemper.
